Acrylic rug with Bidjar pattern - burgundy 160x230

A Bidjar design on a soft acrylic surface

A Bidjar pattern and soft acrylic surface characterise this Iranian rug measuring 160 × 230 cm. Its main colour is burgundy. The machine-made rug has a density of 1 million knots per square metre and is 10–12 mm thick. Alongside the detailed appearance of this Persian pattern rug, these material and construction features also matter: a pleasant feel and an easy-care surface complement its looks. This rug with a Bidjar pattern can also be chosen for a living room, provided that its dimensions suit the available space.

The acrylic that forms the surface of this high-quality rug combines softness with easy care. The Bidjar pattern is displayed on a dense pile, with the 10–12 mm thickness adding to the material's pleasant feel. Acrylic has a feel similar to wool, although it is a synthetic material. Regular care does not require vigorous rubbing: gentle cleaning suited to the material helps keep the surface in good condition.

The rug has fire-resistant and allergen-free properties. Moths do not damage the acrylic material, and the pile is also resistant to sunlight. These features complement its pleasant feel and pattern. When choosing this elegant rug with a Bidjar pattern, you can therefore consider the material's properties alongside its size and appearance. Regular dust removal nevertheless remains part of its care.

Regular care for the soft acrylic surface

Vacuum the rug with a Bidjar pattern regularly, following the direction of the fibres. Select a low suction setting and clean the surface with even movements. Focus on frequent, gentle dust removal rather than harsh mechanical treatment. The rug may release a small quantity of loose fibres when first used; regular vacuuming is also advisable during this period to prevent surface dirt from accumulating.

If a stain occurs, first try to remove it with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Choose a cleaning product suitable for acrylic and test its effect on a less conspicuous area before treating the entire surface. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the amount to use and the method of application. Entrust more thorough cleaning of the rug with a Bidjar pattern to a professional rug cleaning company, especially if the soiling cannot be removed with gentle treatment.
