Mahi pattern acrylic rug – burgundy 140x200

Introducing the machine-made Persian pattern rug with a Mahi design

This rug with a Mahi pattern is available in a burgundy colour palette and a 140 × 200 cm size. It is machine-made from acrylic in Iran, with 1 million knots per square metre. This high-quality rug is 10–12 mm thick and soft to the touch. The Mahi pattern appears on the acrylic surface, bringing together a traditional design and the easy-care qualities of the synthetic material. It is worth comparing the dimensions with the available space before ordering. This rug with a Mahi pattern can also be chosen for a living room, provided that its dimensions suit the available space.

This Persian pattern rug combines the softness of acrylic with a dense machine-made construction. Acrylic is a synthetic fibre, but its feel is reminiscent of wool. The surface bearing the Mahi pattern therefore has a distinctive feel as well as a distinctive appearance. The easy-to-clean material supports straightforward everyday care. However, cleaning should always be adapted to the rug: gentle methods are preferable to harsh mechanical treatment.

In addition to the acrylic material's resistance to moth damage, the rug is fire-resistant and allergen-free. Resistance to sunlight is a further characteristic of the pile. These properties should be considered alongside the Mahi design and soft feel. If you consider the material as well as the appearance when choosing a beautiful rug, this machine-made Persian pattern rug offers several specific features to guide your decision. Consistency and gentle cleaning are the basis of proper care.

Care and cleaning of the rug with a Mahi pattern

It is advisable to remove dust regularly from the soft surface of the rug with a Mahi pattern. When vacuuming, use the lowest suitable setting and follow the direction of the fibres. There is no need to delay the rug's initial care: gentle vacuuming can manage the small amount of shedding that may occur in the first few weeks. Do not try to refresh the surface by rubbing it vigorously. Even, regular care is better suited to the nature of the material.

For a small stain, begin with a clean, slightly damp cloth. If a cleaning product is needed, choose one suitable for acrylic rugs and follow its instructions for use. Test the product on a less conspicuous area first. Do not rub the stain vigorously, and avoid soaking the material unnecessarily. For larger or stubborn stains, entrust the rug to a professional rug cleaner and let them know that it is made of acrylic and is machine-made.

Choosing a size and ordering the Mahi rug

The shape and size of the rug together frame the appearance of its pattern. The rectangular rug has sides measuring 140 and 200 cm; together, these dimensions define the space it requires. For this elegant rug with a Mahi pattern, it is therefore worth considering the exact size of the selected variant as well as the pattern name. The photograph of the full rug and the detail images together give an impression of its surface. Its Iranian machine-made construction is combined with soft acrylic material, best cared for through gentle dust removal and a suitable cleaning product.
